The New York/New Jersey Chapter of the Henderson Institute Graduates and Former Student Association held their Annual African American History Brunch in February of 2025 at the Galloping Hill Inn in Union, New Jersey. There were approximately 80 Members and guest in attendance. During the event, Chapter Members decided to identify a Community Service Project for the upcoming year that they would perform for the community and also allow for fundraising for the Association. It was noted that to do so successfully, they would need to select officer for the chapter during their next meeting, to ensure a fair sharing of responsibilities and accountability. Chapter Members expect to complete their Community Service Project by October of 2025.
